Classical Roundup – February 23rd, 2018

The Classical Roundup is a group of worthwhile articles, videos, and podcasts that I have found helpful on our journey of exploring classical Christian education in the 21stcentury.

91% of Americans Agree With This – Do You? Does Your Child? – University Political Science Professor Scott Yenor and former Focus on the Family content producer and family counselor Jim Mhoon respond to the authors’ growing concern, based on current research, that the moral condition of the nation continues to decline as more American adults than ever admit they are uncertain about how to determine right from wrong.

Established in Christ: Discipling Your Children – Voddie Baucham gives a discipleship 101 for parents in a conference talk. Worth every minute and a great reminder to what we are called to as parents.

Christian Pedagogy in Biology – How can we make biology education distinctly Christian? Most biology is taught with a thorough-going evolutionary worldview, and that won’t do. Biology should be taught in an unashamedly creationist manner that seeks to honor the Author of life at every opportunity.

Aristotle on Star Wars – A little late posting this, but Gene Veith takes his shot at reviewing the new Star Wars movie from Aristotle’s perspective.
